vampires [poll]

What movie/tv vampire would you want to bite you, and why?

Beth: Lestat (Tom Cruise, Interview with the Vampire), because he's the mix of caring/coldness. You KNOW he loved Louis, but in such a cold, twisted, sick kinda way.

Damon: Mina Murray (Winona Ryder, Bram Stoker's Dracula), CUZ SHE'S THE ONLY F'ING CHICK.

Jess: SPIKE! (James Marsters, Buffy), because *drool.*

Lich: Marius (Vincent Perez, Queen of the Damned), because I want to be an ancient druid, too.

Courtney: Evil Willow (Alyson Hannigan, Buffy), because she's a hottie, whip smart, witty, and quite amusing.

X: None.

Ashton: Selene (Kate Beckinsdale, Underworld) , because there's not a lot of "on screen" female vamps I can think of right now.

Bloodmane: Lillith (Angie Everhart, Bordello of Blood), because she was hot.

Mercy: Angel (David Boreanz, Angel), because he's fucking sexy, that's why.

Tish: Blade (Wesley Snipes, Blade) because it'd just be damned cool when he goes all feral and vampy.

Wolfe: Louis (Brad Pitt, Interview with the Vampire), because he is the best vamp in my books.

Jacen: Selene (Kate Beckinsdale, Underworld), 'cause she's hot?

Quasikaotick: None really, I tend not to traffick too much with the walking dead. If sorely, sorely pressed to choose one perhaps Claudia (Kirsten Dunst, Interview with the Vampire) because she's smaller and thus less likely to be rough, and she took good care of her toys for a long time.

LuckLady: Louis (Brad Pitt, Interview with the Vampire) because he's the sexiest vampire there is.

Kate: Louis (Brad Pitt, Interview with the Vampire), because he's cute, reckless, you know - the stuff that a 'what if' question is supposed to inspire.

Ken: Julian Luna (Mark Frankel, Kindred: The Embraced) because he is one of the most suave vampires I have seen played.

And simply because I can't stick with my own rules, and in no particular order other than what's coming to mind:

D (Vampire Hunter D, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust) - Allright. A vampiel, not a vampire. There's something about his humility and tragedy. The classic strong, silent type. Mysterious. Cryptic. Enigmatic. Oh, a mercenary for hire, too. Fantastic with a sword and rides a pretty mean mecahorse. The stylishly bitchy sentient parasite in his hand is a little unnerving, though.

Deacon Frost (Stephen Dorff, Blade) - A power-hungry, blood-thirsty, little punk who not only knows his limits, but knows how to manipulate people into getting his own way while having the time of his life. To inherit that ambition and presence.... (so I'm looking past the fact he's a clutzy chemist and nowhere near as cool in the comics... we know how superficial I can be).

Lillith (Angie Everhart, Bordello of Blood) - Tall. Dominant. Redhead. Cast out of Eden because she refused to serve man on her back. Do I really need to say more?

Lucy Westenra (Sadie Frost, Bram Stoker's Dracula) - There's something about her pretend innocence backfiring into a full-scale succubus that just gets to a guy.... not to mention she's bloody rich. Allright, so I have a weakness for redheads. Christ. Ya just wanna break her.

Lucy Westerna (Bai Ling, The Breed) - Not the same Lucy, by any means; she's far more of a confident predator in this version. Razor. Sharp. Immaculate fashion sense. She has a giant black panther as a pet. She can do some dagnaaaasty kung-fu yet remains vulnerable. This is the Lucy you fear could break you. (also: this film is simply phenomenal for being low budget and shot in 24 days, some of the acting (read: lead gumshoe) is shallow and uninspired, but the symbolism, metaphors, sets, costumes and historical references are fantastic).

David (Kiefer Sutherland, The Lost Boys) - Moody. Magnetic. So tragically innocent in death. Yea, I've been a sucker for it since 1987.

Santanico Pandemonium (Selma Hayek, From Dusk 'til Dawn), Star (Jami Gerz, The Lost Boys) and Selene (Kate Beckinsdale, Underworld - when I finally see the damn thing) probably get an honorary nod here, too. But.... the hell is it with D and L vampire names?! And the S's in the honorable mentions?!
