Session - ROBBED! - House

And not necessarily in that order. But...

I was robbed!

*sulk*

Some motherfucker decided to get into my car last night and kipe my discman! I'm so aghast, hurt, and outright violated. It is only a discman, so it's 60 bucks compared to all that could have been stolen, but it's the principle of the entire thing. Irritating. And it hurts.

What makes this even more rich. The passenger door hasn't locked for over a year. We just thumb the lock over to make it look like it's locked, but even when you open it it doesn't matter, won't move, but hey, looks good. Then, apparently at some point we forgot to lock the driver's door (which locks but does not open from the inside, and has been this way for over a year as well, the Jeep desperately needs work, I tellya) and so this person waits and waits and waits or was just damn lucky and found out for that one time the driver's door wasn't locked, when the damn car hasn't been locked for at least a year.

At least they didn't take any of the loose CDs, only the one that was in the discman. What sucks is that's the one I picked up at the Mad Caddies show a while back, and the lead singer dude just GAVE it to me. Didn't even have to pay for it, plus I got everyone to sign it the cover. Luckily, the signed cover in question was in the compartment above the glove box, so these bastards didn't steal it, and I didn't lose much on the CD itself, so it's just the discman itself. But I'm still pissed.

Session went okay today. Haven't had it for the last two weeks because doc was sick then I was. Strangely it started and ended with being all alone. Doc realized how easy it was for us to sort've slip through the cracks. We can spend an entire week without going out of the house and not really have that hard a time with it. We have this amazing ability to entertain ourselves.... sort've happens when you have an entire commune present at all times *chuckle* We can be the life of the party when it calls, no problems extroverting at all. We can very easily lead both lives. For some reason that became the topic of conversation today. How easy it was to spook through everything.

Talked a bit about the move, too.

Speaking of. Our cousin S owns a house in the town we're moving to. It was rented to this gentleman, but he has passed away. Mother-In-Law is thinking of helping brother B and his wife J move into that house (they need a bigger one) and then letting C and I move into B&J's house. She'll pay the rent, we pay utilities until we can manage the rent as well.

This could be a very good thing.
