Lyrical Intervention - 2/28/2002

More songspeak. Narrowed the playlist down to five hours.

Normally it hovers somewhere up around 9 or 10 hours. We just keep throwing songs onto the winamp and listen. That way everybody stays somewhat pacified by what's on it. And when you're hovering up around double digits there's little chance of hearing a song twice in a night.

This is wonderfully helped by D's penchance for sending us files left and right. Keep 'em coming.

10 hours also does not include the vast variety of mp3s we happen to have. That's only about half. Narrowing it down further.... well, they aren't just random titles anymore. A few excerpts from what we currently have going (at least, the ones that have words, the techno, trance, and jungle sort've don't....)

Ooohhhh I confess
I dont know what to make from all this mess
Dont have much time for sympathy
But it never happened to me
You're feeling down now
I dont know where I'll be when you come around
And now it's time to make a choice
And all I want to hear is your voice

I like the wide variety of music you enjoy. It shows how well-rounded you are. (Someone was just telling me the other day about a new mp3 player that has something like 1 Gb of memory…over 250 hours of listening! Can you imagine? I think it was a Voyager.) [Mirror_rorriM]
