What the hell? - 1/29/2002

It's...... _SNOWING_......

This is B-town, in Southern California, it does not snow here. It doesn't often rain here, much less snow. During the winter storms, we'll normally get one good hailing per year. Brings all the little people out to drive around and play as if they've never seen it before.

Quite cute, really.

But now, as I'm sitting here typing in my rabies vaccination series just started toda... er.... yesterday to those of us that have slept....y too physically uncomfortable to sleep type delerium.... it's friggen SNOWING.

I went and stood outside, even, just to make sure that I wasn't just seeing things from being up all night having a VERY interesting play with D, had little ice crystals on my hand......

Definitely snow.

And SPEAKING of the rabies vaccination.... okay, well I was, earlier, anyway, fucking side effects have had me up all night (I will admit Asshole getting to play had a lot to do with it, too) with aches and pains and being cold and hurting and being lightheaded and being cold....

I'm in at least three layers on any given body part and STILL cold. *mutter*

socks, flannel pants, jeans, wifebeater, t-shirt, sweater, BIG fricken flannel quilted coat and... AND..... the beanie we never took off yesterday that just stayed because ears were nice and toasty, PLUS a blanket that's been on and off for the past couple hours.

STILL. FRICKEN. COLD.

It's nice to finally be able to get the rabies vax and have work pay for it. It's very expensive. It's very necessary when you handle wild animals.

=[]=

And..... I have honestly forgotten what else I was going to type about.... yay sleep dep.... *dry look*

I guess it had to be a cold day in southern California before I was going to beat ~ds to a note on this diary. ;o)
We've been having just the opposite weather here...unseasonably warm and sunny. That ended today, though...and I have to drive in it tomorrow. :o(
Glad to hear they paid for the vaccine. Seems like that should be standard, considering where you work. [Mirror_rorriM]
