I have....
...... considered killing my Sociology prof. I have also found that I am not alone in this opinion. He is rude, sarcastic, demeaning and utterly unhelpful as a professor.... even when we ask him for help. The Dean of Students has been contacted, I do not pay a grand a class for shit like this.
...... discovered (okay, more reaffirmed) the joys of online shopping. Ebay is a wonderful place. Spazzboy picked up some things for C that are worth over $130 combined and paid a whopping $30 for it all. Not to mention some cool shiznitty for DS and others that deserve presents in the coming holidays. (and no DS, I will not tell you what it is) Sure beats heading to the stores in full riot gear just to survive the parking lot.
...... found that three bands I like are coming to town, on Tuesday even! Dynamite Boy, Deisel Boy and No Use For A Name. And I will be able to attend the show....
...... missed half of it. In the middle of the second band, I end up catching some guy having entirely too good of a time, but I failed to take into account (or somethign) the momentum of his head. Which then connects into mine, halfway knocking out one of my front teeth. Luckily I was so drunk at the time I simply laughed about it the rest of the night (I mean, it was an accident).... we had to leave early, though
...... experienced instant orthodontics at 8am the following morning. The tooth has been reset, and is now bonded permanently to the two teeth beside it. Let us pray the impact did not kill it so I don't have to get rootwork or an implant.....
...... added another drug to last month's list. Acetamenophen and Codeine is..... is...... oooodalally, it's -good-. And actually legal, too..... whoo.
...... missed session Wednesday because the drug is that good. Everyone is entirely too spacey on this one to even begin talking with Doc *chuckles* Even Spazzboy was out of it.
...... found that things can be just as fun if you are the one on major painkillers, and everybody else is profoundly drunk. Had a little party here on Wednesday night, where it seems those that were drinking decided to go on an appetizer sampler of everything in the liquor cabinet. Brave folks, them are *sage nod* (I, however, did not drink, because of the meds) Though when desperation sets in and me and a friend really really really want a bowl, you can scrape together nearly two of them if you are determined (or in his case drunk) enough.
...... found that C's family is wonderfully entertaining while on said drug, even if Thanksgiving turned into finger foods. You see, I can't put any pressure on my front teeth for awhile, until it sets, so I must make everything bite sized so I can just put it directly to my back teeth and chew. I, too, seemed to be entertaining....
..... introduced T and B, two of our newest keepers, to Feast for the Beast. It happens the day after Thanksgiving, and is sort of a Thanksgiving/Christmas affair for the animals at the zoo. If you donate a certain amount of food, you can get into the zoo for free. This helps the zoo stock up for the winter, and gives the animals some tasty treats they don't normally get. We spend the morning scurrying around getting all the cleaning and chores done so we can spend the afternoon enriching some of the animals with some of the donated food.... so the public can see their donations in action. Kids and adults love seeing the pumpkins they brought in simply obliterated by the black bears.... or the raccoons foraging for the cereal and mashmellows we hid around the enclosure..... or the goats/wild boar/wild burro skillfully breaking apart the watermelons..... it's all a good thing. Hell, we still have some donated peanut butter leftover from last year, another freezer is filled to the brim with bread. We've got big barrels full of apples, oranges, bananas, persimmons and sqaush/gourds.
So that brings us to today. A lot's happened in a week, hasn't it.....
you are quite entertaining... but judging from the previous entry's title which i have not read yet, it could get naughty. we shall see... [FunkaliciousNow]
