I was going to carry on, up to the Bathtub, but realized I was still without my group (My group of friends? No... MY group). They were back down on the trail. I had to go back and join up with them, so I went back through town... and suddenly was inside. In something like a school hallway, white tiled floors, yellow flourescent lighting....... there were a few people, faceless, unrecognized, here and there (confusion, crowds, going back downhill). Soon I realized it was getting dark..... and all I had was this piece of shit flashlight. It had new batteries in it, but it was acting as if it didn't. (This was actually the specific flashlight we left in the car when C and I went up to the Bathtub *chuckles* GOOD little flashlight, too). Some woman, reminding me of a hall aide, or something, came out, trying to get me to hurry up, and go back to them (Doc thought this was her, but she wasn't, I'm not sure how to describe her yet, reminded me of a certain actress but hell if I would know ...... OH!..... the mom from Gia..... looked phsyically like her.... uh.....Mercedes Ruehl, the height, the hair, no voice, though).
But it was getting darker. And soon.... the realization of the prophecy came. That at the next full moon, the bats will not be able to fly, and the owls will not see..... two integral parts to their functioning taken away. As if by some magick. (And owls and bats are seen as purveyors of witchcraft, anyway.... does this have anything to do with Houdini? The man that takes something away?).
So there's a little more of it.... it seems to be a sort of weekend review of what's going on now, perhaps with a little preview of what's to come. That maybe someone seems to think we're moving too fast with the Doc. I'm not sure. But we're taking it a face value of that, and just hanging back until we figure out the dream. As this has stood out much more than any other before it..... it may be someone trying to get out attention, for some reason.
And hell, was was the last and when is the next full moon?
I think November 1st is the next full moon.. the last being October 2nd.. but don't quote me for sure....If I remember right, there will be two full moons in November as well....
