Under Pressure - 9/10/2001

And who can name that artist? *smile*

Got drunk, and I mean drunk for the first time in a loooong ass time last night. Decided I'd go for my age old favorite of a Fire in Heaven. I don't know why I'm enamoured with it as I am, but I am. Bacardi with Tobasco. Always remember to clean the shotglass between shots, or else the effect won't be right. And, speaking of the effect, make sure to drop the Tobasco in slowly. If you shake it in, then it plummets to the bottom and you don't get the effect. If you go slowly and carefully, then it floats, suspending just right, and the proper moment, and the proper height..... and something quite beautiful comes out as end product.

Mmmmmm how that applies to a great deal more than Bacardi....*smirk*

........true.....

Technically you make it with 151. But you can use all kinds, different colors, tastes and effects. I found it suspends nicely in Bacardi Light....... but then it's shooting Bacardi Light *chuckle*

The cause to celebrate? One of our friends took us to see Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back last night.

This is where part of the song reference comes in, too. As the artist was in the preview commercial for XM radio. And who is looking mighty good for being, what, 90 years old or something like that *tries to remember a time when there was no.... erm.... name that artist*

I was pleasantly surprised by the movie. Heard both good and bad things, and truthfully was a bit leery of the supposed "offensive gay jokes." I really didn't find them offensive at all..... it was a good way to start my technical weekend (Sundays are actually my Fridays).

We ran out of weed when we got home, not that we had much to begin with, so broke into the hard liquor. C and our friend (yet another C) hit the whiskey, I stuck with Bacardi...... during a quick smoke run we danced our way into FastTrip (and, for the record, C only had 2 shots at the time so could still drive without a problem, friend and I were happy passengers).... we were quite fucked up.

And I have found, that dollar bills won't burn under pressure (part B of the song reference).

Drunker than my own good, by this point *chuckles* C came up with this point, and since I trust her implicitly, I volunteered to be the assistant for this magick trick.

Wrapped the dollar bill around my arm (somehow I knew my arm had to be offered without knowing what she was going to do, this should have been red flag number one), flicked the bic, and....

Hey, cool, it didn't burn.

Red flag number two should have been the fact I was drunk, and there are those inside that don't feel pain, are slight dare devils, like pain, or happen to be a cutter/self-injurer..... and in any event when inhibitions go down, they're more apt to come out. I don't know which sprang forth last night...... but I couldn't tell C "Stop, it's starting to hurt" as soon as I wanted to. There's about a quarter sized patch of skin that needs to regrow....

Whoops.

C feels guilty, and responsible, because she knows of the others, and a whole slew of other reasons. I just kissed her and told her that we were all blazing and that I encouraged her to do it. It's just a little burn, and she really meant no malicious harm. It only destroyed first layer of skin, anyway, so it won't scar that badly. We realized this morning that C has a burn scar (from the Turbo on her car) in about the same place..... maybe a little twisted for some folks, but we think it's cute.

Ohh man, I had that done to me once, about a year ago. I too, was quite drunk; and was lured into the trick by a girl who told me if the $20 bill burned through I could keep it. Needless to say; it didn't. I woke up the next morning with burns all over my arms! It was terrible!.. hahah
Have a nice night! [*blueberry]
