Would've been earlier, no doubts, got home Sunday, but he's been spending much needed time with C and been basically computerless...... which we're not complaining about, not a'tall! Seems the little foil up that delayed the homecoming of the computer turned it from the prophesized updated to 800 (yes, we were running a 400 Pentium II, dinosaur I know) processor with new sound card, more RAM and improved video card somehow birthed:

• 1.2 GIG Processor *drool*
  
• brandspanking new Asus 7200 motherboard
  
• 40 gigs of memory (what am I going to DO with 40 gigs? Since '98 we couldn't even fill up the 14 gig drive of olde I mean good GOD)
  
• GeForce Video card
  
• SoundBlaster Live card
  
• HUGE amounts of RAM
  
• new modem and ethernet card both thrown in for free
  
• tons of new software
  
• and about 5 hours of labor
