Yep, I survived the Christmas madness

Last ten days have consisted of:

work, play, movies, dreams, nightmares (which I may end up tossing in here to get an opinion), rapid fire switching (luckily only infront of C and DS), phone calls, laughter, tears, massive amounts of beer, liquor, smoke, hair dye (yep, 'hawk's purple, sides are fire engine red..... and my mouse, summarily, is now pink), Oh! PRESENTS!! Gotta D burner from C and this COOL fuckin ring from my bro and his wife and gave C this bitchen bong so it's kind've mine too and got about 310 from the mom and the in-laws in CASH no less and OHOHOH! What DS sent *just dies laughing all over again* Got this HUGE bear with a moosemon (yes, alaskan pokemon) t-shirt on it and the SOCKS *holds up foot, spreads toes* She gave me toe socks! Rainbow even! These things are the SHIZNIT! Asshole can EAT his bet cause I'm still wearin' these puppies! ha HA!

Anyway, Mom made dinner for 6 Christmas Eve, which was interesting, cause she had it planned AT 6. Now this would normally be cool, but I had to work that day (yes, our animals do like to eat every day and it's nice to have a clean cage, too, you'd be surprised how many people asked me why I was there on Christmas Eve working...... and were shocked to find out people were there on Monday, too). And I hadn't seen my mom for the past few days cause she was out with her boyfriend and I'd be out at work or with C and our pals or something, and we just crossed paths when walking in and out of the garage (yep, we've shacked up at home with Mom for the first year out of school, I sure as hell ain't complaining, the only bill I pay is the cable connection and long distance phone calls, of which I made one since we've been here, that would be the one to you, DS *chuckles* noooooooo complaints at all and soon SOON we shall have our own place *pets growing bank account lovingly*) SO all I knew about this dinner was that it had "dinner 6PM" written on the calendar Mom so thoughtfully keeps on the fridge. Now the zoo is aaaalll the way across town. I don't get off work until 5:15. It takes a half an hour to get home in good traffic. Needless to say I dove from the garage straight into ths shower when I got home. Nope, didn't even hit the floor once. Not one step.

Then she's gracious enough to tell us "oh, they're here at 6, the roast won't be ready until 7.... have a drink dear"..... heh, noooo problem

Yea, but common man, she was so cute, actually FED Mojo that day.

For those outside the know, I'm babysitting a possum right now *has no idea if he's even mentioned it before, but there you have it* Mom was cool, thought he was cute, until she saw his tail and freaked *chuckles* Plus he has fangs that hang down below his jaw.... little guy's such a stud. But mom's scared of him and she went so far as to neglect looking int he back fridge where I have his food made and in baggies so I can throw and go on work days and I"ll toss his food in leaving for work, clean up and play with him after work.... but she actually DICED carrots and pears for him *busts up laughing* then spooned out an EXACT spoonful of yogurt so he wouldn't get more or less than he's supposed to (yes, those of us who prepare food daily have magical mystical methods to our measurements, need 25g kibble? 1/4 cup scoop, there ya go *scoop, toss*)

Isn't my mom just great? *LOL*

THEN went to the inlaws on 'Day..... watched the Addam's Family for a holiday movie (hey, it DOES take place around Christmas), then witnessed C and siblings get just BLITZED *chuckles* I didnt feel like drinking as I knew I was getting sick so ended up the des driver (shocking, I know). as with bro's wife.... so all was good and safe. Everybody else stayed at the house. And present speech goes here.

Hey, at least we made it through christmas

and have been on meds, vicodin for my back and lots of loving thc, which brings me to my next entry.
